Island Voices- Journeys to the Isle of Man
The 2016 census revealed that the Isle of Man is now home to over 7,000 people who were born somewhere other than the Island, the UK or Eire. In fact we have residents from an amazing 164 other countries around the world.
Why do people come to the Isle of Man, why do they stay and what do they think of our Island?
These are topics being explored by the One World Centre in an oral history and photography project that reflects our changing population and the impression the Isle of Man has on those who come to work and livehere from afar.
The exhibition is a snapshot of some of those individuals taking part.
