I was born and brought up as an ethnic minority Hungarian in Transylvania, which is a province of Romania. My husband and I had been pen pals for years before we met and got married. I came here 20 years ago when he was offered a job and have never regretted it although I still miss experiencing four distinct seasons. I believe it is what you do and how you contribute to Island life that truly matter, not where you come from or how long you have been here.
