When I arrived in the Isle of Man, the first six months were the toughest and I didn’t think I was going to stay here. However the longer you stay, the longer the Island leaves a footprint on you. You realise that you’re part of something bigger than yourself. It is definitely somewhere that I feel that I’m quite settled. In life, anything can happen. With my job I could work anywhere but I have a son and it’s the best place to raise children. It’s the best place to grow yourself, not just career-wise but as an individual – to discover yourself.
