I come from Zagreb, the capital of Croatia and the largest city. It’s rather nice, lots of buildings, lots of concrete - so very different from the green space of the Isle of Man. I was excited to come and study abroad but rather scared - it was such a huge change to come to such a small place from a big city. But the nature here is beautiful and people are really nice and make you feel welcome. I hope that I’ll get to move around with my job, I want to go into international relations and work on promoting gender equality in the developing world.
